CONMAN
Coordinator: Jean-Christophe LOISEAU, DynFluid (Arts & Métiers Science and Technology, France)
Keywords: Data-driven methods, reduced-order modeling, flow control.
Applications of closed-loop flow control have epic proportions: drag reduction, lift increase, mixing enhancement, or noise mitigation. It is however challenged by strong nonlinearities, partial state information, parametric dependencies, or time delays. The project CONMAN (Data-driven CONtrol and MANifold interpolation) aims at tackling one of these problems, namely the parametric dependencies. It forms the first step in a long research program crafted by the principal investigator.

Current members
This ANR Young Research project (ANR JCJC) involves only members of the DynFluid laboratory: Jean-Christophe Loiseau (Maître de Conférences, PI), Jean-Christophe Robinet (Professeur des Universités), and Xavier Merle (Maître de Conférences). A postdoctoral researcher and a Ph.D. candidate will soon be recruited to complete the team.
